FUNCTIONAL FITNESS

HIGS GYM offers early morning functional fitness classes as a great way to increase strength, speed and stamina. These can be stand-alone classes however are also an excellent compliment to parkour and jiu jitsu. The focus of these classes is to provide an opportunity for an excellent full body workout focusing on strength training, muscular endurance and explosiveness.

 

The coaches uses tools such as the bars, medicine balls, battle rope, boxes, walls and ropes to focus in on specific muscle groups. Body weight and weighted exercises are utilized and you can be sure that your pull-up’s, push-up’s, wall climbs, rope climbs and so much more will improve if you take this class. The description is in the name, it’s functional and it gets you fit!!
